Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and captain Sergio Ramos preview Wednesday’s clash with Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League last 16.

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach (0:04):
“The fact is, it’s Real vs Manchester City, not Guardiola vs Zidane. We can discuss it, everyone can give their two cents, but at the end of the day it’s a football match. People want to see a match between Real Madrid and Manchester City. It’s a brilliant fixture, we’re happy because we love playing this kind of match. We’re ready for a great game.”

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach (0:39):
“[On why he thinks Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world]
Because he’s always shown it. At Barcelona, then Bayern, now with Manchester City. I think he’s proved it, simple as that. But that’s just my opinion. Other people would name other coaches. There are lots of great coaches, but for me, he’s the one.”

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach (1:08):
“I can tell you about where we’re at with Eden (Hazard). He’s frustrated, he’s upset. We’re not happy about the injury, we’re a bit down, because he wanted to come back, to give us what we know he can give us. But in the end he couldn’t, because he played two games and got injured. There’s just one thing I’m hoping for, which is that when he comes back, he comes back in top shape. That’s what he wants, that’s what we want, but right now it’s a difficult time for him.”

Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid captain (1:55):
“[On how he’d feel winning against Guardiola]
I have a lot of respect for Guardiola. He’s a great coach, with a lot of experience, and the statistics speak for themselves. But regardless of the team’s star or their coach, regardless of the past, what motivates us is playing in the Champions League, and right now that means beating Manchester City. The fact that Guardiola is there by chance is not an extra motivation for us. The motivation comes when we sing the anthem, when we forget about everything around us and focus on qualifying for the next round.”

Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid captain (2:34):
“[On his contract being extended]
Honestly, neither the club nor I am thinking about the extension at the moment. I’m sure we’ll come to an agreement. If the club wants me here, I’ll stay. Right now we have to focus on the Champions League, La Liga, and the rest comes later.”

Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid captain (3:02):
“[On whether Manchester City’s two-year Champions League suspension is extra motivation for them]
I don’t know. Maybe, seeing as it’s their last one for a few years. It could be extra motivation. Luckily we don’t have to go through that, and I hope it doesn’t happen to us. The Champions League is a special competition, which is talked about all over the world. It’s the ideal stage for all the top players to show what they’ve got.”
