5 players Manchester United could sign for FREE in January | Transfer News Now.
LATEST TRANSFER NEWS – TOP 5 Players that could move for free in summer 2018

Manchester United could look to strengthen their squad in January.
The Red Devils have enjoyed a fine start to the season but Sunday’s defeat to Chelsea leaves them eight points behind rivals City.
Talks over a new deal have stalled and United will have to change their stance on contracts for players over 30 to agree a contract.
Liverpool are thought to be pursuing a number of options and they won’t be the only ones.
Here are options for the Red Devils.
who should manchester united sign in the transfer window?

Number 1 : Jose Gimenez
An uncompromising centre-back who has found minutes hard to come by for Atletico Madrid, with Stefan Savic and Diego Godin first choice under Diego Simeone. Still only 22, the Uruguayan has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, and has heralded playing in England as a ‘dream’.
United arguably don’t need any other defenders but he would be a decent addition, considering Mourinho prefers a back three.
Gimenez has been linked with United in the past but they instead pursued a move for Victor Lindelof.
Number 2 : Leon Goretzka
Schalke midfielder who has become one of the most in-demand youngsters in Europe. After developing quietly at Gelsenkirchen, following an early move from Bochum, Goretzka has really exploded onto the scene in the past year, his box-to-box style catching the eye. Six goals in nine appearances for Germany has seen his stock rise further.
He has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham and may not be on United’s radar.
Number 3 : Faouzi Ghoulam
Could the Algerian solve United’s problem position?
They have struggled with left-backs for some time with Ashley Young, Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian all playing there this season.
Ghoulam is having a fine season with Napoli and the Serie A side will be desperate to keep him.
Number 4 : Max Meyer
Schalke’s other potential freebie, and one who has already fluttered his eyelashes towards Klopp. “I know from the past that he appreciates me as a player,” Meyer said in the summer of 2016. The versatile midfielder has struggled to nail down a starting spot this season, however, making just six starts.
Number 5 : Stefan de Vrij
The Lazio man has been a mainstay at the Rome club since his arrival from Feyenoord in 2014, establishing himself as a Netherlands international in the process. But despite some solid performances in Serie A, his contract remains unsigned.
