Real Madrid’s Champions League final vs. Liverpool will be ‘piece of cake’ – club legend Paco Gento

Real Madrid v Liverpool: detailed head-to-head

Zinedine Zidane reveals his Real Madrid problem for Champions League final with Liverpool

Real Madrid forwards Gareth Bale and Isco both pressed their cases for starting places against Liverpool in Kiev on May 26.

Bale found the back of the net twice, making it seven goals in nine games for the Welsh forward.

While Isco matched Bale’s stunning second with a wonderful individual effort from the other side of the penalty area.

“It’s better to have everyone plugged in,” Zidane said at his post-match press conference.

“We had a great game and that was important. We were very professional, scoring six goals and playing a lot of football. We did very well.”

Bale has started just three of Real Madrid’s 12 Champions League games this season, mainly down to a calf injury.

And he received a warm ovation from the supporters when he was substituted after 71 minutes, his double taking his league tally for the season to 15.

“He is very good, he has shown that,” Zidane added.
